Garage Heater

Most garages aren’t connected to the home environmental controls, and as such it is sometimes necessary to install a garage heater. This can be especially true if you live in colder climates. Fortunately, there are a number of solutions to this problem.

An electric garage heater is one possible solution. The advantage to these heaters is that they are relatively inexpensive and require nothing more than a standard wall outlet. However, most electric heaters can’t heat an entire garage and so are best kept near your workspace.

A propane or kerosene garage heater can also be a good investment. The main disadvantage to propane heaters is that they require the room to be ventilated in order to maintain breathable air. Kerosene requires a bit of ventilation as well, although they are better suited to an enclosed space than is a propane heater.
